The Family Farm

We are a proud family of artists, apitherapy specialists, beekeepers, farmers, preservationists, and philanthropists. Our farm is a blend of creativity, sustainability, and innovation, where every aspect of our work is rooted in tradition and driven by a vision for the future.

Our family farm spans 2.5 acres of urban growing space and an additional 5 acres in nearby city limits, allowing us to expand our farming operations and produce high-quality goods for our community. We grow and harvest a wide variety of produce to create our value-added products and to supply our CSA Box subscription members with fresh, local food.

Samantha “Foxx” Winship, our Apitherapy Specialist, FarmHer, Certified Beekeeper, and Master Gardener, leads our farm with a commitment to innovation. Under her guidance, we continually discover new ways to improve our farming practices, develop unique products, and expand our operations.

On our farm, we proudly cultivate a variety of crops and maintain a diverse range of animals and plants, including:

• Bees (and their therapeutic products)

• Chickens for eggs

• Worms for vermiculture

• Elderberry bushes, muscadine grapes, apple trees, mulberry trees, and blackberries

• Specialty items and various produce

We teach our children the essential skills of farm life, including beekeeping, vermiculture, poultry care, growing food, and processing value-added products. This hands-on approach empowers them to become the next generation of stewards of the land and innovators in sustainable agriculture.

At Mother’s Finest Family Farm, we also house:

• Our NC Certified Clean Kitchen for holistic product production

• A Bee Apiary and Bee Meditation & Frequency Therapy center

• Visual Art Studios, including a metal casting and metal fabrication shop, as well as fine art studios for creative expression

• A farm store for our handmade products and local goods

• Group gathering spaces for community events, workshops, and educational opportunities
